GrammarKing
What GrammarKing means on Twitch — a correction, a crown, and someone who could not let it go.
What does GrammarKing mean?

GrammarKing is a face with glasses and the energy of a person who is about to fix your sentence. Chat posts it when they correct someone, when they notice they are about to correct someone, or when a streamer commits a crime against an apostrophe. It is pedantry as an emote. Owning it is the only way to use it without looking worse than the typo.
Origin
Photo global. The code is the accusation and the crown at the same time. A lot of early Twitch emotes work this way: the name is a bit, the face just has to withstand it. Cinheimer is the cozy version of being particular. GrammarKing is the public version.
When to use GrammarKing
- A correction, especially one you know you should not be making
- Pointing at a typo without writing the lecture
- Self-owning your own pedantry
- Not as a way to jump a chatter who is typing fast in a second language
