SUBprise

What does SUBprise mean?

SUBprise is a simple square face with a round open mouth, surprise with a subscription pun. Chat posts it for an unexpected sub, a gift bomb, or any surprise that can survive a pun this clean. PrimeMe asks for the Prime sub. SUBprise is what the channel looks like when one arrives unscheduled. The mouth is a circle because the subtlety budget was spent on the name.

Origin

Drawn global. SUB is capitalized in the code so the pun is visible: SUBprise. SUBtember is the September campaign version, animated and purple. This one is the generic surprise. Use it all year. Use SUBtember when the month is the bit.

When to use SUBprise

• An unexpected sub or gift
• A surprise that deserves the pun
• All year, unlike the September-specific cousin
• With PrimeMe if the sub was the Prime one
