What does TakeNRG mean?

TakeNRG is "I'll take that energy." The same round star-eyed head as GivePLZ, but receiving instead of offering. Chat uses it to accept a raid, a compliment, a bit of hype, or the other half of a handshake.

The Dragon Ball reading is popular: GivePLZ is charging the Spirit Bomb, TakeNRG is Goku catching it. Even on channels that never say that out loud, the pair still reads as pass / catch.

Origin

TakeNRG shipped with GivePLZ as a matched Twitch global pair in the mid-2010s. NRG is "energy" in the name; the art is a take pose, not a separate character. Chat invented the handshake and the Spirit Bomb joke; Twitch just provided two complementary sprites.

You will rarely see TakeNRG without GivePLZ nearby. Alone it can still mean "I'm taking this W / this compliment / this copium." The full gag needs both.
