AnotherRecord

What does AnotherRecord mean?

AnotherRecord is the trophy you post when a record falls and it is not even the first one tonight. Speedruns, high scores, win streaks, sub goals: if the number on screen just became the best number, this is the emote. Pair it with NewRecord when chat wants both medals.

Origin

The art is a trophy with a green glow. Twitch added it as a global for personal-best moments, the same family as NewRecord. It is not a channel emote and it does not require a sub.

When to use AnotherRecord

• A speedrun, ranked game, or high score that just beat the old mark
• A second or third record in the same stream, when one medal is not enough
• Sub, follower, or bit milestones the streamer actually earned
• Ironic use when the 'record' is for deaths or fails

FAQ

What does AnotherRecord mean?

A record was just broken. Chat is marking a new best, sometimes the latest in a pile of them.

AnotherRecord vs NewRecord?

Same idea, two medals. NewRecord is the flaming badge. AnotherRecord is the trophy. Spam both.

Is it only for speedruns?

No. Any best: damage, wins, subs, a ridiculous fail streak you are crowning on purpose.
