NewRecord

What does NewRecord mean?

NewRecord is a medal on fire. A personal best, a high score, a speedrun, a sub record: the number is the best number and the medal is how chat marks it. AnotherRecord is the trophy you add when it keeps happening. NewRecord is the first bell. Post both if the channel has no self-control, which is most channels.

Origin

Official global, drawn, flame included so it does not look like a bronze you got for participating. It is the scoreboard emote. GoatEmotey crowns a person. NewRecord crowns a number. Those are different compliments.

When to use NewRecord

• A PB, a world record, or a channel best
• The first record of the night
• With AnotherRecord when the second one falls
• Ironic records for death counts, if you are crowning the bit
