DatSheffy

What does DatSheffy mean?

DatSheffy is a knowing face, the one you post when you recognize the clip, the tech, or the lie. 'Dat' is 'that.' Sheffy is the face that has seen that before. It is cousin to a nod. Less hype than a pog, less sarcastic than Kappa, more specific than a plain smile.

Origin

Photo global from the early set. A lot of these codes are nicknames that became feelings. DatSheffy stuck as recognition: that one, that play, that guy. You do not need the biography to use it. The squint does the work.

When to use DatSheffy

• Recognizing a copycat play, a repeated excuse, or a famous clip
• Pointing at the exact thing without typing a paragraph
• A mild smirk when a prediction comes in
• When Kappa would make you sound like you are joking and you are not
