ModLove

What does ModLove mean?

ModLove is a heart tattoo with MOD on the banner. It is for moderators. Chat posts it to thank a mod, to welcome the mod team, or to admit the mods are the reason the room works. It is not a generic heart. VirtualHug is the hug. bleedPurple is the platform. ModLove names the people with the sword.

Origin

Drawn global, a tattoo so the affection looks permanent. Twitch added it because 'mods' is something chat types constantly and rarely gets to make nice. Use it when you mean the team. Using it sarcastically after a ban is how you get a longer ban, and you will have deserved the reading.

When to use ModLove

• Thanking mods, defending mods, or greeting them
• A mod-appreciation night
• When a timeout was correct and you can say so
• Not as a loophole after you were just punished
